I run a Youtube channel where I do book reviews, live readings, and narrate certain books or excerpts whenever I feel like.
Mostly Harmless by Douglas Adams
The last “official” volume in the Hitchhiker’s Guide series. I can honestly say that I hate this book and wish it had never been written. Then again, it is Douglas and that means there are still some good bits. Just really annoys me for some reason. In my head, this book doesn’t exist.
The Hobbit by JRR Tolkien
I’d wanted to record this one since I was very young. Glad I waited until now. It was actually quite demanding, even though it isn’t a truly complex book. I got to sing all the songs though, and that was really tough sometimes. Hope you enjoy.
So Long and Thanks For All the Fish
Fourth audiobook I attempted. This one is much better than anything I had done up until that point. Pacing is fairly consistent, voices are much better, accent is great. I’m sure there are some rough parts, but I like this one. Also one of my favorites in the series.
Life, the Universe and Everything by Douglas Adams
The third audiobook I attempted. This one came out much better, and I even started using a good microphone. This may also be my favorite book in the series.
The Restaurant At the End of the Universe by Douglas Adams
The second audiobook I ever attempted. Pacing and accent improved on this one, but it is still hard for me to watch. Enjoy!
Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams.
First audiobook I ever attempted. I cringe to watch it now, but people really seemed to enjoy it and it got me started in pursuing audiobook contracts. Accent, pacing, volume, quality are all over the place, but it was great fun to perform.
